Clothing

There is no set uniform for Pre-school, all we would ask is that you send your child to school suitably dressed. Your child’s clothes should be comfortable and practical. Your child will be playing with sand, water, mud and paints throughout the day and will likely get rather messy. Please bear this in mind when dressing your child for the day and don’t send them in new or favourite clothes.

Clothes should also be easy for your child to take off and put on, especially if they are starting to use the toilet for themselves.

Please practise doing up and undoing buttons and zips on their coats. Velcro shoes are much easier for a young child than laces.

Please, please, please label all items. It is much easier to locate missing items if they have been named.  

Please put spare clothes into your child’s bag so if any accidents do happen we have clothes for them to change into.

Even if your child is toilet trained please send spare clothes anyway as they may get wet or dirty playing outside and may need to be changed.
